This Tier List Hub ranks movesets in Anime Ability Arena (Roblox Ability Arena by Banjomeni) based on community experience, not developer statements. Banjomeni can buff or nerf abilities in any update, so treat every tier here as a snapshot of what strong players are running today — not gospel from the studio.

Ability Arena has no traditional class roles. Every moveset is a bundle of E, Q, and sometimes R skills plus your basic M1 melee. A kit that looks weak on paper can dominate if you master dash timing and third-party fights. That is why we split rankings into three focused pages instead of one overwhelming chart.

• Best Abilities — top PvP picks such as Psychic, Fire, Lightning, Knight, and The Hero, with reasons each kit earns high placement.
• Beginner Picks — low Hit unlocks that teach good habits before you grind Shadow or Vampire.
• Premium Abilities — Robux movesets Space Outlaw, Angelic, One Punch, and Sorcerer compared for burst, mobility, and value.

How we rank abilities

Our tiers weigh reliability, mobility, team-fight impact, and skill floor. One-shot potential matters, but so does surviving long enough to farm Hits. Premium passes are judged separately because they skip the Hit grind — see Game Passes for exact Robux costs.

We do not copy official patch notes verbatim. When balance shifts, check Updates and revisit these lists. If you are still learning inputs, read Controls and Combat Tips before swapping mains because of a tier change.

Free vs premium in tier discussions

Most of the roster unlocks through Hits alone — Wind at 0 up through Vampire at 7,500, with Cursed as a special case. Premium kits are optional power spikes, not requirements to compete. Suggested tier list workflow

1. New player: read Beginner Picks, then Getting Started.
2. Mid-progression: compare your unlocked kits against Best Abilities.
3. Considering Robux: read Premium Abilities before purchase.
4. After every major patch: skim Updates and adjust your main if a nerf hits hard.

Important disclaimer

These rankings are community opinion. Two players with the same tier list will still disagree on Ninja versus Archer in low-skill lobbies. Use tiers as a starting point, then play ten matches with a moveset before judging it. Anime Ability Arena rewards match knowledge — edge control, dash cooldown tracking, and when to third-party — more than any letter on a chart.
